Raghunandan Bhadane

Raghunath Bhadane was one of the earliest artists of Indian Cinema. He has closely seen the development of early Indian cinema while working in Dadasaheb Phalke’s film company. Bhadane worked in the editing department of films by Phalke and also appeared on-screen as extras in a number of films like Bhakt Pralhad (1926).

This interview was conducted by Bapu Watve on 28th May Dec 1987 at Nashik.

Bapu Watve was a renowned author on subjects relating to cinema, and studious researcher. He is known for books like “Ek Hoti Prabhat Nagari”, “Bhartiya Charitramala: Dadasaheb Phalke” and “Bhartiya Cinemache Janak”.
