Ganpatrao Bakre

Actor Ganpatrao Bakre was born on 14th November 1901. He was active in the early days of the film industry from the mid-1910s until almost 1940. Known for performing daredevil stunts in heroic style, he was recognised as a Maharashtra’s first Stunt King. Bakre also received the honour from Lokmanya Tilak for his work in Vatsala Haran.
